Storm lost heavily against a much bigger and better Cardiff A team today.

The young Storm team found the pace and the intensity hard to keep up with. The first two quarters gave way to a little panic and disorganisation, concluding the first half at 45 – 7 to Cardiff.

But then they settled down and played better for the second two quarters, most certainly winning back some respect for their efforts.

The final score was 81 – 28 to Cardiff

Should we be able to replicate the second half performance for the entire game when the teams next meet, the the score board will look very different indeed.
